Good Friday morning friends! How was your week? I’ve been a circus here, Patches, my pup was spayed last Friday. On top of all of the other chaos I spent the week trying to keep a puppy still, with two other pups trying to entice her to joust and play and in a onesie. At least 10 times a day I find Patches scooting across the floor like a mermaid(back legs stuck in the onesie), or with her front paws stuck in the onesie and crying because she cannot walk without front feet/paws. She is a spirited, rambunctious little pup and I feel for her but at the same time I want to keep her safe and the vet says we have another week to go. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I have lots to share so grab a cup of your favorite beverage, for me it is hot chocolate, but for you it may be tea, coffee or a cocktail, sit down and enjoy all of my Friday finds.
Food
I love dessert and the easier the recipe the better, these Raspberry Almond Shortbread Bars are perfect all summer long and the best part is that you simply change out the fruit to suit your taste.
Really Good Veggie Dip, from Inspired By Charm is another easy and delicious recipe to keep in your file. You could make this ahead of time to have for cocktails with friends or a bbq.
You had me at cheesy, Tequila,Chicken Queso Fundido Dip from Climbing Grier Mountain. Add a pitcher of margaritas, and a basket of chips and you are ready to start the weekend,
I am a huge fan of quiche and I always make it crustless, if you enjoy it as well and are put off from making it because you think you need to have a fancy crust check out this post for an easy and scrumptious breakfast, lunch or dinner.

This week while enjoying the beautiful Spring weather my front porch I read Moonlight Over Paris and really enjoyed it.
Have you read The Little Red Address Book? If not add it to your Amazon cart or your library wish list, it is one of my all time favorite books and perfect for a day at the beach, a leisurely read on the porch or a rainy day.
Finds
In the past I have been a fan of black but as I age I find myself drawn to color, this week I ordered this I loved so many of the dresses in this collection but they were already sold out. Were you luck enough to get a few of the dresses this week? If so, please tell me which did you order and how did you like them?
I love dresses, they are the perfect uniform for summer. I am thinking of ordering this dress from J. Crew have any of you ordered it this season, how does it fit? How do you like it?
I hope that you found something that you enjoyed here today and I hope that you share your favorite recipes, books, podcasts or whatever else you discovered and enjoyed this week.

The pup will be glad to just do pup things again, but for the next few days all you can do is give lots of love and reassurance.

I hope that Patches will be healed very soon. It’s so hard to watch our fur babies recover from surgery. Thanks for the book recommendations. I’m always looking for a new author to enjoy. I’ve read many of Kristy Woodson Harvey’s books and look forward to reading Christmas in Peachtree Bluff.

Thank you Paula, I hope that you are doing well.

I’m sure Patches will be feeling herself again soon. It’s such a pain trying to keep your pets still and inside when they are sick. Great round up for the week.

Oh, I hope your pup is feeling better! Kristy is a friend and I’ve read her books. SO excited for her Christmas one and for a chance to visit Peachtree Bluff series again!

Aw poor pup. My book club is reading Magpie Murders- so far so good. We needed something light after a couple months of heavy reading. Cute finds as usual!
