Good morning friends and happy Friday to you! It’s been another HOT, sultry week here, how about in your “neck of the woods?’ Has it been hot, stormy, or are you enjoying a little cool weather? For those of you that are near the fires, you are in my prayers.
I have lots to share as always, so settle in with your favorite beverage and maybe a few snacks and let’s get too it.
Food
If I could I would eat pizza or pasta every day and this Sourdough Gnocchetti Sardi with Basil Pesto Sauce would be on the menu at least once a week.
Speaking of pizza, this recipe for Neapolitan Pizza looks easy and delicious. As soon as we can find our pizza oven which seems to be lost in a sea of boxes I am going to make this! If you love homemade pizza, this pizza oven is a splurge but it is one of our favorite things that we own. We make homemade pizza almost every Friday night and have since my husband “gifted” us this for Christmas last year.
If you are already thinking about Fall, and I am, these mini chicken pot pies are perfect for cool Fall evenings.
Do you like Greek lemon chicken? If so I think you will love these Greek Lemon Potatoes.
I’ve made zucchini bread with my summer bounty from the farmers market but never Blueberry Lemon Zucchini Cupcakes! I think I am going to try these this week.
Just in case you missed it, this week I posted one of my favorite summer recipes, homemade brownie ice cream sandwiches, if it is not too hot you could make some this weekend. An alternate and super easy recipe is to take chocolate graham crackers and sandwich them with cool whip topping, wrap in tin foil, freeze and in a few hours you have “ice cream” sandwiches.

I am a huge fan of Barbour coats and own several, if you are but do not like the price this coat is a great alternative.
It is never too early to think about Fall and Winter plaid boots.
That’s it for this week, I hope that you found something that you enjoyed. Please share you favorite recipes, books or whatever else you discovered this week.
Have a happy and safe weekend.

That ice cream sandwich!!! I have to make them!! Hope you have a great weekend!
The pizza sounds good.
So many great links to enjoy! I just ordered The Reading List and can’t wait to get it.
That’s awful what’s happening over at Goodreads. They basically are holding authors hostage. I also read the article about ageism and TikTok. That was an eye opener! And I was so happy to see it.

We make homemade pizza every Friday. It’s been a 20 year tradition, nothing like homemade pizza.
Love the boot and the phone case.
