Francophile gift guide 2021
Good morning friends, a happy Saturday to you. It is going to be cold and rainy here this morning which gives me the perfect excuse to sit in bed and read and drink chocolate. Are you a person that likes to read in bed and relax on the weekend or do you like to jump up and start the day?
What are your plans for the weekend? Sunday we are going to a chili cook-off and to dinner to celebrate my nephews 14th birthday. As for today, I am not sure, I am trying to convince my husband to hang two light fixtures.
Have you been shopping? I have been thoroughly enjoying everyones gift guides, and have seen many fun things to gift family and friends.

Louvre Paris
I love Paris, I fell in love with the cobbled streets, the beautiful gardens and cafes a long time ago and every single time I return I visit “my old favorites” and then I just wander and discover something new and beautiful.

Paris Cafe
I remember one 2 week trip I only took one photo(unheard of in the age of social media) and never stepped foot in a museum. I simply woke up every day and wandered all day from one arrondissement to another. I stopped in churches and was lucky enough to hear a few of the choirs practicing for Christmas concerts. I peaked in open doors and discovered secret courtyards. When I was chilled or tired I stoped at a tea room or cafe for a chocolat chaud or just to people watch. I sipped mulled wine at the Christmas markets and I nibbled eclairs and Punitions from Poilane bakery while enjoying a minute of silence in a favorite park.
I know that many of you are Francophiles as well so I thought I would share some gifts that I love and that you might as well.

Of course perfume, a beautiful candle, wine or Champagne are wonderful options as well. You could even put together a little gift basket. If you wanted to make a Parisian treat you could bake some Madelines and add a canister of tea, add a cup plop it into a basket, wrap it in cellophane and voila a Francophile gift basket.
You could also order a subscription box from My French Country Home, Sharon’s boxes are beautiful, they are a little expensive but they are worth it. Sharon also has a magazine that your friends and family will love, you can subscribe here.
