Good morning friends! How was your Thanksgiving? We had a fabulous Thanksgiving, we spent the day with family and friends, we cooked and ate too much, went to the Blessing fo the Hounds, played games and more. It is hard to believe that we crammed so much fun into 24 hours. Today I am laying low, I am under the weather and have a sore throat. What are your plans for the day? Will you be shopping the Black Friday sales? Or staying home and enjoying some leftovers? Whatever you do I hope that you enjoy it.
I have an abbreviated Friday Favorites to share this week but I hope that you enjoy it. Grab your cup of coffee or chocolate and lets get to it.
Friday Favorites including food, finds, books and more.
Food
Turkey Noodle Soup is on the menu this weekend here and I would guess at many other homes, if you are looking for a recipe this one looks delicious.
If you have already moved onto Christmas baking then here are a few respects you might want to try, Easy Peppermint Meringues.
Vegan, easy to make and delicious Gingerbread Cookies.
These chocolate covered Oreos can’t really even be called a recipe because it is only two ingredients, cookies and chocolate. That said, they are delicious and make a beautiful and easy gift for friends and family.

Don’t forget to get out your kids Christmas books and place them in a basket. Make a point this December of shutting off all electronics for at least 1 hour so that you can read, relax and be present with your kids or grandkids this holidays season. If you need more children’s books suggestions check out this post, and this one too.
