Good morning! Happy Valentine’s Day to you! Do you have plans for the day? A night out with your significant other, or a Galantine/Palentine gathering?

Valentine’s Day Thoughts

It’s funny because there are so many mixed feeling about Valentine’s day, some people love it and think it is a special day set aside to show your loved one how much they mean to you.

Others think it is a made-up holiday. And then there are people who are single, recently single or suffering a broken heart who would rather stay in bed for the day and get up when it is all over.

I have said it before, I am not really into Valentine’s day. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting cards from my husband and friends and I love to send cards and gifts to friends and family.

But I really do not like the emphasis put on the day itself.

My feeling, life is short, don’t wait for a holiday to let the people in your life know that you love them! Tell them today, tomorrow and the next and the day after that. Send cards for no reason, a text that says, “I’m thinking of you.”
