An easy Easter flower arrangement to show off your eggcellent taste.
After a long winter the yellow daffodils and forsythia, pale pink and green hellebores and white pear blossoms are feast for the eyes. Then overnight the wisteria, dogwood and azaleas add pops of purple and pink to the landscape. A rainbow of colorful flowers just outside your door that are perfect for your holiday table. If you are hosting Easter brunch or dinner I have an easy and beautiful flower arrangement that you can make with flowers and herbs from your own back yard.
Easy Flower Arrangement for Your Easter Table
Flower arranging is not one of my strong suits. But I love flowers and the color and texture that they add not only to the house but to a tablescape. This week my yard was awash in bright pink, fuchsia and pale green from the azaleas, geraniums and Lenten roses. So I thought they would try my hand at a small arrangement.
I pulled out vintage ironstone pitchers, transferware sugar bowls and various other vessels but nothing seemed to work. Then I completely changed directions and decided to let the flowers take center stage. I used a clear glass vase( a repurposed candle holder) and a jar and got to work.
How to make an Easy Easter Floral Arrangement
Supplies
1 clear glass vase
1 glass jar
colorful seasonal candy, i.e. Easter M & M, candy corn, Cadbury eggs, or jelly beans
flowers and herbs
1. Gather Your Supplies
2. Place the small jar inside the larger jar/vase and pour candy around the edges. Carefully add water to the small inside jar, try your best not to get the candy wet because it makes a sticky mess.
3. Purchase flowers and herbs from your local store or forage for them in your yard.
4.Cut the flowers to size using garden sheers or scissors, place the flowers in the jar, then add herbs to fill in around the flowers. Mint, parsley, cilantro and oregano work great.
An even easier idea, take a handful of herbs from your garden or from the store, and plop it into the vase, intersperse the herb arrangements with the flower arrangements and place them down the middle of your table. Several smaller arrangements along with candles and seasonal items like eggs and small rabbits look festive.
Not only do you have a beautiful arrangement for your table but you can make these small arrangements to give as hostess gifts or for your guests to take home. Lenten roses, geraniums, azaleas, mint from my container garden and some parsley from the store are included in this one.
The flower combinations and ideas are endless for these easy Easter flower arrangements. You can make it as simple or as elaborate as you like and it is sure to be a beautiful addition to your Easter celebration.

Your Easter arrangement is so pretty! I used the same technique for my Easter table centerpiece! I used faux but I love the idea of using real flowers and adding herbs! Happy Easter!

Thank you Donna. I love using herbs, they are so inexpensive and last a long time, not to mention they go with everything.
