The best spring-self care ideas are the ones that leave you feeling fulfilled, happy and energized.
1. Get Outside
Make time to get outside everyday and get some fresh air. Soak up some vitamin D, enjoy the suns’ warmth on your skin, take a daily walk, a bike ride or simply sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. Maybe even start eating lunch outside so that you can enjoy nature and give yourself a boost to get through your work day. Don’t forget your sunscreen.

3. Spring Clean Your Whole House
Spring cleaning is cathartic and makes your home feel ready for the new season. It’s the perfect time to do a deep clean of your house; throw open the windows, let in some cool crisp air and get rid of the stale air from winter. Scrub the floors of the salt and dirt, change out your down bedding and flannel sheets for cotton or linen sheets and lighter blankets. Wash the baseboards, the walls, pillows and cushions, as well as, the carpets and rugs. Tackle all of the chores that you do once or twice a year.
4. Give Yourself Flowers
Treat yourself to a bouquet of your favorite fresh flowers. Make a few little arrangements, one for your bedside table or vanity, maybe one on your desk or the kitchen or bathroom counter. Put these little pops of color and scent wherever you will enjoy seeing and smelling them.
Or you could go outside and forage for flowering branches or flowers from your garden. I love to add fresh herbs to my arrangements or other greens from my plants and trees outside. When flowers are scarce make bouquets of fresh herbs and have them on the counter in the kitchen to add a bit of color to the house.
5. Change Your Menu
Why not change your menu? Transition from the heavy comfort foods of fall and winter, add some Spring fresh fruits and vegetables, like carrots, asparagus, strawberries, blueberries, etc. Try some new recipes and make yourself some colorful salads, lighter soups(there are still chilly nights),or easy sheet pan dinners with lots of vegetables.
