Small gifts, sweet treats and other things that make the perfect stocking stuffers.

Good morning! It is one week until Christmas. Are you ready? It has been a busy holiday season packed with fun and a bit of work. Yesterday I mailed the last of my Christmas cards. A few days ago I sent the last boxes of baked goods, candy and treats. All that is left is to pick up my books to give on Christmas eve and my stocking stuffers. If you do not know the tradition of giving books on Christmas Eve you might enjoy my post on jolabokaflod.
We have always woken on Christmas morning to bulging stockings so heavy they were no longer hanging from the fireplace but laying along side. When we were kids they were filled with our favorite candy, small toys, little gifts and puzzles.
As we grew up the toys turned into tooth brushes, tooth paste, nail polish, make up, lip balm, gift cards and other small gifts. We still get a few sweet treats for our sweet tooth too but mostly things we can use while visiting.

My late mother in law was notorious for filing our stocking with novelty items she collected all year, for me it was anything with a dachshund,. I will miss that this year but I will remember fondly how much fun it made Christmas over the past 30 years.
As there isn’t much time I loaded up my Amazon cart with a few things like waterproof playing cards, hot sauce, portable phone chargers and tech accessories( love these leather air pod cases). As well as lavender pillow mist,
Of course I added a few of our favorite sweet treats, peppermint bark, candy canes,
You could also add a mug, some hot chocolate or tea, or even some coffee beans and a little chocolate pot.
There are so many fun things you can put in a stocking that your family will love. Use your imagination to come up with some creative and fun favorites.
Until Tomorrow
