Friday Favorites No. 658

Good morning friends! How are you? Did you have a good week? It was a quiet but busy week here. I’ve said that the last few weeks but the last quarter of the year is always busy for us. We do most of our traveling in the fall, have lots of family visiting and of course there is work, social activities, end of the year appointments and the holidays.

This is one of the reasons that I put my Christmas trees up early, then I can focus on family, friends and all of the fun stuff that I love.

Not to mention that by this time of the year I am in my nesting mode, more time reading, less time on social media. More time enjoying “alone-time” and time at home.

Speaking of home, we have a tentative start date for our fireplace, mid-December. While not ideal with the holidays and guests, hopefully it will not take more than 1 day for the build and installation. Fingers crossed.

The only plans I have for the weekend are a going away party for a friend. Other than that I will be enjoying the beautiful Fall weather and life.

What about you? What are your plans this weekend?

Ok, on to our favorites.

SHOPPING~OUTFIT OF THE DAY

casual fall and winter plaid coat pink sweater outfit with brown suede boots and bag and a white shirt.

Brown suede is a great color for Fall and winter, it’s warm and cozy and not too dark like black. It is a neutral that works with many other colors, cool or warm toned. This week I paired brown corn, a brown sued bag and boots with a pink sweater and a beautiful plaid coat. You cannot tell from the photos but it’s a pink plaid not purple as it comes across.
