Friday Favorites No. 663
Good morning friends! How was your week? It was beautiful here, the most perfect Fall weather. I know that so many of you love summer but I “blossom” in the Fall, I wake every day with a spring in my step and joy in my soul.
There is something magical about the way the sun filters through the pines as the sun comes up in the morning and then in the afternoon as it illuminates the jeweled tone leaves slowly falling from the trees.The crisp air, warm sun and the scent of a late afternoon fire are quintessentially Fall. And at the end of the day as the sun sets the warm glow welcomes you home.
I am never happier than I am in the Fall and Winter. What about you? What is your favorite or least favorite thing about Fall and winter?
Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Will you be traveling or staying put? We are in town and I cannot wait for the holiday fun to begin!

FOOD
Thursday is Thanksgiving and my favorite dishes are the sides and the yeast rolls. Here are a few dishes that you might want to add to your menu.
Caramelized onion potatoes au gratin is the perfect potato side dish for your Thanksgiving table. We all have a recipe for potatoes au gratin but this recipe takes it to another level.
