Good morning friends, and a Happy New Year to you!

There’s something magical about a new year. It feels like opening a blank notebook, fresh, full of possibilities and adventures. 2026 is here, and with it comes the chance to create moments that matter, and to step into the days and months ahead with hope and possibility. Whether last year felt like a complete disaster or the best ever, this is your invitation to celebrate a fresh start.

My wish for you this year is happiness, health and hope.

Happiness

Happiness isn’t a destination. It’s the ordinary, everyday moments that you may miss when you’re rushing through your life. This year offers 365 opportunities to pause and experience the good things already present in your life.

The morning sunlight streaming through your window, a laugh with someone you love, the first sip of your favorite drink, a song that lifts your mood and makes you spontaneously dance. These small moments add up to a life that is rich and meaningful. Don’t wait for big events or achievements to give yourself permission to feel joy, soak it up every single day. Life fragile, and fleeting, don’t waste it.

Wishing You Health in 2026

Health forms the foundation for everything else in life. Without it, everything else becomes a struggle. This year, my wish for you is physical and mental wellbeing and a life of  balance. I want you to be able to enjoy life, travel and pursue the goals that you have for yourself, as well as, care for the people that you love.

At this time of year we are bombarded with “tips” and “tricks” to reset our hormones, get skinny, have blemish free skin, and create strong healthy bones among other things.

First, things first, pull out your calendar and schedule all of the appointments that you have been putting off. Preventative care is key, it can catch issues when they are manageable. So call for your annual breast exam, a wellness check up, and whatever else you need.

We don’t need quick fixes, small, consistent choices and changes create the biggest impact. Find some sort of movement that you love. You’ve head the phrase “move it or loose it?” As we age we loose muscle mass and bone mass, walking, swimming, dancing, and strength training can help that.

A “new you” doesn’t have to mean deprivation, drinking your weight in water or consuming copious amounts of proteins. Focus on foods that fuel your body and give you energy. Lots of colorful fruits and vegetables, quality proteins, healthy fats, and whole grains with a little of your favorite treats sprinkled in.

Be sure to get 7-9 hours of sleep a night, your body needs to rest, reset and repair itself. And don’t forget your mental health, it deserves the same attention as your physical health. Meditation and journaling are a start, and therapy and support groups can help too.

Hope

Believe that good things are possible even when life feels challenging. Choose to look for light even during dark times. Trust that better days are ahead.

Carry hope with you throughout 2026. You’ve managed to survive every difficult day  and challenge so far, which means that you are tough and resilient even if you don’t always feel that way.

The year ahead is full of potential and possibilities, moments waiting to be experienced, opportunities waiting to be discovered, adventures to be had and connections and time spent with family and friends. Where will you invest your precious time and energy?

My wish for you is that 2026 exceeds your hopes and brings you unexpected joys. Stay curious, say yes to things that energize you, align your choices with your values, and create space in your life by letting go of what no longer serves you.

If scrolling makes you sad or depressed, delete the apps and put the phone down. If there are things or people in your life that no longer bring you joy or bring you down it may be time to let them go.

"Never lose hope. Storms make people stronger and never last forever.”

Until Tomorrow

Everything you need for an incredible year already exists within you. Your strength, wisdom, and resilience will carry you through whatever 2026 brings. Yes, there will be challenges, but also moments of joy that make everything worthwhile. Keep showing up for yourself and the people you love. You deserve every bit of happiness and success that comes your way. Here’s to your best year yet.
