Saturday Round-up

Goods Saturday morning my friends! I’ve decided to change things up and move my Friday post to Saturday morning, it gives me a little more time to write it and you a little more time to read it at your leisure on a weekend morning.

I wanted to take a minute and update you on my nephew, for those of you that don’t know a little over a week ago my nephew was hit by a truck while riding his bike. He was airlifted to a pediatric trauma hospital an hour and a half from home and had surgery to repair a fractured skull and a brain beed.  It goes without saying that this has been a stressful time for my family, especially for my brother and his wife. Thankfully my nephew is doing well, he is eating, walking and talking and was sent home yesterday to continue to recuperate and heal. There is still months of therapy ahead, and many limitations on his physical activity for a year but the good news is that he is alive. Thank you so much my friends for all of your prayers and good wishes, they were and are greatly appreciated.
