Christmas stockings are a wonderful holiday tradition. You can hang them by the fireplace, on the staircase or at the foot of your bed. They are perfect for small gifts and candy.

At our house we still hang the stockings that we had when were children, as well as, the ones that my mom made for all of us about 15 years ago. Now each family has a matching set.

You can find Christmas stockings at almost any store but if you want somethings special you could make your own or order a handmade one from Etsy. The William Morris stockings shown above are some of the most beautiful that I have seen this year.  Stockings available here.
