Easter Decorating

March 21, 2013 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 7 Comments

Good morning! I have finally put away the last Christmas decorations so to be honest, the last things I want to do is decorate for Easter. Perhaps I will just use fresh flowers and lots of chocolate?

There are so many great ideas if you want to decorate for the holiday, between the magazines and Pinterest you could find enough ideas for your house, as well as all of your neighbors.

I have found everything from traditional pastels and eggs, to blue and white, to chocolate and tulips.

Do you decorate for Easter? Do you use traditional pastels, grass and eggs? Or do you use flowers and branches?

I love using what you have to decorate; cake plates, egg cups, moss from the garden or whatever else you have on hand.

After all the holiday is about more than the decorations but it is always nice to make our family and friends feel special.

I cannot decide which I like the best.

If you had to choose, which is your favorite room?

I think my favorite is this last image below, I love the branches, the blue and white service, the little chocolate bunnies, and the rest.

I hope that you have a great day. Stay warm and safe, I think more snow is on the way for some, and for others unseasonably warm temperatures.

Hi there! I just 'hopped over' from *Just Cats* and love your Easter idea pictures… as well as all the delicious food recipes. I plan to continue to explore your site more fully this week. And thanks to my 11 year old grand daughter, I am also exploring Pinterest.

Just hubby and me for Easter so I won't be setting a table. I did buy a huge pottery egg from Pottery Barn, does that count? Nice tables highlighted here!

Elizabeth, I love them all. Oh I wish we were entertaining this Easter. It will be just the two of us, so I will probably do something simple. I always enjoy all the pretty things you find. Bonnie

I have TWO favorites: The Easter Eggs from Country Living and the Easter Dinner from BH&G. All of them are so fresh and beautiful, it is so hard to choose!
