21 Things To Do This Summer

June 20, 2014 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 12 Comments

Good morning! The first official day of summer is just around the corner and I have been thinking up a list of things that I would love to do. You know the quintessential things that summer is all about, long lazy days with family, enjoying barbeque’s, or time at the beach.

Here is my list of 21 Fun Things to Do this Summer:

1. Visit the beach

2. Build a Sandcastle

3. Plant an herb garden

4. Make S”mores

5. Go camping

6. Take a Summer Vacation

7. BBQ

8. Fireworks

9. Eat Cotton Candy

10. Visit the Boardwalk

11. Visit the Farmers Market

12. Go to the Drive In

13. Visit the Zoo

14. Spend the day reading

15. Make lemonade

16. Go on a road trip

17. Watch the fireflies

18. Pick some wild flowers

19. Go on a picnic

20. Long walks with my husband and my pups

21. Make homemade ice cream

Of course there are a ton of other things that I would like to do but these are the highlights, after all it is the little things in life that make it worthwhile.

What are your summer plans? Do you have a list of your favorites? Whatever you plans I hope that you find time to spend with family and friends and that you travel safe.

Have a great day!

I love your list my friend! I have been reading everything under my sun lately, and I could keep going! But I do want to visit the zoo, go to the lakes regularly, and use my basil in a few recipes! Enjoy! Anita

    Great list!

I must be deprived. I know what s'mores are, but I've never had one.

Elizabeth, dear , how are you? Thank you so much for thinking of me and visiting me! I think of you often, and my computer time seems to be shrinking as the year goes on. Several reasons for that, but I am trying to adjust my schedule for blogging again…I love it and miss it so much.
Your summer list is wonderful, and I have many of those on my list as well!
Since my girl is now a teenager, her idea of fun is definitely changing! 🙂 Wants to spend more time with friends, so I am trying to adjust to that as well.
I hope your summer will be full of special joys, Elizabeth! (I love your photos here….beautiful)
Still looking forward to meeting you in Wisconsin some day… 🙂
    Love to you, my friend…

This is an absolutely perfect list, Elizabeth!! I am trying hard to enjoy this summer…this week I have spent several afternoons "playing hooky" by the pool! I wish I still lived at the beach, though (your IG pictures are making me homesick). Hope you are having a lovely day! xoxo
