My 10 Favorite Fall Recipes

October 30, 2018 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 4 Comments

Good morning. I hope that you have a great weekend. Mine was busy but I did find time to relax and try out a few new recipes. I am not sure that I am going to put them into my “regular rotation” just yet because although they were good they were a bit complicated. In the Fall I love to bake but as far as cooking I like easy meals.

Today I am sharing 10 of my favorite fall recipes, lots of soups and salads and a few comfort food thrown in as well.

Image here

1. One pot Chili Mac and Cheese from Damn Delicious.

2. Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Soup from Delish.

3.  Fig & Beet Salad

4. Caramelized Butternut Squash, Quinoa, Spinach Salad

5. Thai Coconut Pumpkin Soup

6. French Onion Soup

7. Swedish Meatballs.

8. Roasted Beet, Apples and Pecan Salad with Blue Cheese

9. Layered Chili with Jalapeno Corn Bread.

10. Slab Apple Pie

My heart is heavy today with the tragedy in Pittsburg and my thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives and their families.

I hope that you have a good day. Make sure that you let your friends and family know how much you love them.

So many good ideas here. It just turned crisp here and I have to get my head around the fact that summer is over for real. A nice onion soup sounds perfect!
The Pittsburgh tragedy is shocking. And also the Kroger shootings. And the pipe bombs. All in one week. What is happening?
