Tea Lovers Gift Basket

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

~C.S. Lewis

Good morning. If you have a tea lover or a book lover in your life I have the perfect Christmas gift basket for them.

I made this basket for a friend that loves tradition, tea, baking and travel and I think this basket fits her perfectly.

Over the last few weeks I have been picking up treats and pieces for this basket. I found the tea cup at a local antique store, the gingerbread man cookies, the honey and the tea are from TJ Maxx, the tea pot and the macarons are from Amazon and the book  Whisky in a Teacup I found at Marshalls. The tea towel I had a friend bring back from her trip to London.

If you have a tea lover in your life they might enjoy a basket like this too. It is the perfect time to shop for interesting tea, cookies, candy and other treats at some of my favorite stores, Tj Maxx, Marshall’s and HomeGoods. Share a new cookbook or a couple of your favorite books that you read this year, add your favorite tea or coffee and buy or make some of your special cookies, whatever you put in your basket your friends and family are sure to enjoy because it was made by you.

What are you making to give to your family and friends this year? Do you have a favorite recipe for cookies, candy or something else that you think we need to have? I would love if you would share.

Have a great day.

The first peaches of the season. These fuzzy, swee The first peaches of the season. These fuzzy, sweet peaches take me back to summer days as a child. We would go blueberry and peach picking with my grandmother and fill bushels of peaches to take home for her to bake with and the can for the winter. I’m not sure how much help we were because I am pretty sure that we are our body weight in peaches. We were a sticky mess by the end of the day with a belly full of Michigan’s finest peaches. Those were the days. #peaches #ncpeaches #thefirstpeachoftheyear #naturesfinest #summerfruit #peach #pineconesandacornsblog #memories
