Saturday Meanderings and Finds From Anthropologie

Good morning friends, how are you this fine morning? We are getting off to a slow start, yesterday we moved rugs and more furniture into the house after I scrubbed the floors and then washed everything to try to get rid of the last of the dust. Slowly but surely the house is coming along. We still have a ton of boxes in the garage to unpack, as well as, furniture to either move in or to give away. Today I am baking my favorite chocolate cake with chocolate frosting so that we can celebrate my husbands birthday on Sunday.

I am sure that by now you have heard about the “supply chain” issues and how it is going to impact Holliday  gift giving but have you also noticed that on some of your favorite sites there are now timers for how long items stay in your cart, almost like a “flash sale?”

Is there a special item, toy or piece of clothing that you are looking for this Christmas that you “can’t live without?” I am not looking for anything special yet but I do like to look after all it is part of the fun, like window shopping from home.

Today I thought I would share some beautiful  finds from  They always have so many unique things that I want, everything from I love thistoand more.

Have you seen the adorableillustrated pieces at Anthropologie? They are so cute and last year her pieces sold out immediately so if you see something you like be sure to get it.

I love theseThe fox and the little mice in the gourds are so whimsical and cute. There is also aa very large platter and many other pieces that would look beautiful on your Thanksgiving table.

As for Christmas, the 12 Days of Christmas Plates are pretty cute too.

I think this  is a fun piece to greet your holiday visitors as would thisand this gingerbread house.

I pinned a doormat similar to this one years ago and people send me emails about it all the time and ask where to buy it. Here you go friends, if you were one of those people the doormat is still in stock.

If you are looking for an advent calendar this is very pretty.

This candle illustrated by Susannah Garrod(advent calendar as well) is another great pice to add to your Christmas gift wish list. It is on backorder until October 22.

Do you have a special mantra or quote that you love? If so this personalized bracelet might be on your wish list. You can also get your name or you could have the names of your children all in a row instead of a mantra.

It is a little expensive but I am sure if you liked the concept you could find something on Etsy that was a less expensive.

I could not have a holiday post without at least one plaid item, this  is so festive and definitely makes a statement. I love how they styled it with white jeans.

I did want to share one more thing, if you like, they are having a sale! There are so many fabulous, colorful dresses to add to your wardrobe. I bought a blue and white dress similar to this and every time I wear it people ask where it is from. They also released their winter collection and it is dark and moody, this dress  is one of my favorites.
