Halloween is all about the candy, treats and costumes. I am not sure what it is going to look like this year but if you live in a place where there will be no trick or treating and you have young kids or grandkids why not have a little party at home.

The kids can have a scavenger hunt in the house and yard for candy or they could decorate cookies and enjoying eating all of the candy while they are doing it. Make sure to get a variety of candy corn, M&M’s, sprinkles, colored sugar and other candy to decorate the cookies with. You can also use orange or black melting wafers from your local craft store if you want colored cookies too.

Make some of these chocolate covered Halloween Oreo’s for yourself and then make a few extra to share with your neighbors.

  1. Thanks for an adorable treat for the grandkids that even I can make! I had already bought Oreos and eyeballs to turn Reese’s cups into bats so I am excited to add some variety to my treats.
