Good morning friends, over the course of the next two months there will be dinners, parties, family get togethers and more. Thankfully this year many of us will be able to resume our favorite holiday activities with family and friends. Today I thought I would share a few affordable hostess gifts to give as a token of your appreciation when you attend one of these events.
Hostess Gifts
The great thing is that you do not have to spend a lot of money to show how grateful you are to your host for having you to dinner, to make cookies, to attend a holiday party or for a long weekend. Your hostess gift could be something as simple as a candle, a house plant, a bottle of wine or even a tray of homemade treats.
If you are looking for something to gift to your hostess here are a few of my suggestions.
Hostess Gifts for the Tabletop

Mudpie wood cutting board with acorn design and a wood handles spreader
Pair a cheese knife, and favorite wedge of cheese on a small cutting board. Mudpie has a nice selection including this one with acorns.
A set of coasters tied with your favorite ribbon.
Horn bottle opener and wine opener to accompany the hosts favorite beer or wine.
Hostess Gifts for the Kitchen
Holiday towels or a beautiful apron are another favorite of mine to give and to receive. Or a beautiful tray!
Hostess Candles
A perennial favorite of most hostesses, a candle in the scent of the season.

Sand + Fog Winter Pine Candle
I personally buy a lot of candles from TJ Maxx, and I always enjoy the scents of Sand + Fog, they are priced from $7.00-$12.99. Marshall’sThe great news is that you can buy them online and beat the crowds.
Comfy Hostess Gifts
A seasonal pillow for a cabin retreat or a pillow for their bed. I like this one and this this set too!

“Let heaven and nature sing.”
A throw is another great gift, and will keep your hostess warm all season long!
Sweet Treats Hostess Gifts
Sweet treats are always a good idea!
You can buy your favorites or make some homemade candy of cookies.
A tin of tea or some coffee along with a tea cup and saucer.
Pin Me for Later
There are so many things that you can gift a hostess but the most important is the gift of your time, presence and gratitude.
Have a great day my friends.
