Weekend meanderings with Kim of Northern California Style and Juliet of Make Mine a Spritzer and my favorite Farm Rio dresses this Spring.
Good morning friends, happy Saturday to you . It’s a beautiful day, the sun is streaming in the windows and it looks like a great day for a walk to the village for fresh scones and hot chocolate. It is a little cool(40) but I am not going to complain because in the South the summer heat and humidity come early and stay until October. After that we will be finishing a few projects in the back yard and then we are meeting up with my brother and family. What are your plans for the day? Is the weather nice in your area?
Weekend Meanderings
Today I am joining my friends Kim NORTHERN CALIFORNIA STYLE and Juliet MAKE MINE A SPRITZER for “Weekend Meanderings”, after you are finished here don’t forget to stop over and check out all of their finds.
Do you follow Tieghan from Half Baked Harvest blog? Did you know that her latest cookbook Half Baked Harvest Every Day: Recipes for Balanced, Flexible, Feel-Good Meals: A Cookbook was released this week? I have her two previous books and use them all the time. I received mine yesterday and I already have at least 20 recipes bookmarked. If you aren’t familiar with Tieghan you can see more of her scrumptious recipes and photos on her blog.
With all that is going on in the world I could definitely use a little levity and I am a fan of Sandra Bullock. The Lost City looks like a funny, feel good movie that I am sure will bring a lot of laughs. Have you seen it already? What did you think? Do you have any other movie recommendations?
On that note, what are your thoughts on Bridgerton? Did you like season 2 better than season 1?
Do you like to shop on Ebay or Poshmark? If so you need to check out how to score the best deals on eBay and Poshmark.
If you are a fan of Jamie Beck and her amazing photography you won’t want to miss this sale. This weekend all of the “Isolation Creation” posters are on sale and on midnight Sunday they are being retired. You can find all of Jamie’s work here.

I am in absolute love with the Rio Dresses!!! I am hoping it is not cold and windy today like yesterday so I can get out in the garden when I get home. Happy Saturday!
Elizabeth! Those dresses! Every last one need to make the jump to my closet. But, alas, I may have to narrow it down to one. Seriously, I see two that are just my style and perfect for summer … which feels just around the corner here in NoCa. Sorry, I know it’s cooler where you are. But perfect weather for a scone and hot chocolate in your town … which sounds like an amazing way to start the day. I’m looking forward to The Lost City and a little escape. I love Sandra too and the trailer looks funny. I just ordered Tieghan’s new cookbook, thanks for the reminder. Isn’t she amazing … not sure how she does it but glad she doesn’t. Your Easter craft/treat is really fun. My little grands moved to Texas and I’m not doing Easter baskets this year … but it might be fun to do something like this and surprise them with a package. Hope you have a great visit with your brother and an amazing weekend! xo
LOVE THE FARM RIO BUT THEY ARE TOO SHORT FOR ME!
A beautiful quote. You always find the best. Did I miss the link to that first white and blue dress?
Brenda
Brenda, thank you! The first dress is from last year and I could not find a link to it. Have a wonderful week and take care of yourself, I am thing of you.
Hi Elizabeth I love this post so much. I really want to try to make those favors for Easter. I love your Farm Rio dress and that was on my radar also. I just bought one for our Hawaii trip and it’s similar to yours except it’s got spaghetti straps. A similar blue and I really love their prints. They are beautifully made and really worth the costs. Like you said their statement pieces. I think everybody needs a few of those in the closet! I always love this and in the car today and will sit down with your fab Friday post later . It’s always one of the highlights of my week! Have a fun weekend with your family. xo
Have a good week.
Thank you William, you as well.
Such a great post. You always inspire!
