10 Fall Drinks if You Don’t Like Pumpkin Spiced Latte

August 31, 2022 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 11 Comments

Move over pumpkin spice latte, here are 10 drinks to keep you warm and cosy this Fall if you don’t like PSL.

Good morning and attention friends, in case you missed it, Starbucks started serving pumpkin spices latte’s yesterday! Can you believe it has been 19 years since this fall favorite was “invented?” The PSL, as it is fondly referred to,  combines Starbucks espresso and steamed milk with flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove and you can order it hot, iced or blended.

I know pumpkin spiced lattes are a favorite of many(not me) but what if you don’t like pumpkin spiced latte?  What do you drink? I don’t drink coffee, I never have, I drink tea as well but my preferred drink of choice is hot chocolate.

I perused Pinterest and found some fall drinks I think you will enjoy if you do not like pumpkin spice latte or just want to try something new

10 Fall drinks to try if you don’t like PSL

Believe it or not PSL is not the only game in town. There are spicy teas, warm milks, ciders, hot chocolate and more to keep you warm during cosy season.

Cinnamon apple tea from Gourmande in the Kitchen.

Homemade Cinnamon Pear Cider from The Savory Tooth.

Let the Fall begin! Also available at Starbucks: the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which combines Starbucks Cold Brew with sweet vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice. Pumpkin scones and the ever popular pumpkin bread.

If you do like PSL and want to make  your own at home, here is an easy recipe! As for the pumpkin bread I have so many great recipes, including pumpkin cranberry chocolate chunk bread, “Starbucks” pumpkin bread with buttery crumble and many more.

What are your favorite drinks in the Fall and Winter? Do you have a recipe that you can share?

Have a great day.

Those drinks are certainly inspiring when it comes to what to serve when the weather cools off – if ever! I'm a coffee drinker but do enjoy a hot chocolate on a chilly winter day.

I can drink hot drinks all year long. Especially a great cup of coffee but something about pumpkin in the fall and hot chocolate in the winter.
