WEEKEND MEANDERINGS~Glebe House, Alice Tatham and more.
Good morning friends! How are you? It’s time for weekend meanings with Kim and Juliet. This is our weekly series where we share all of the things that piqued our interest and caught our eye over the past week.
It is a beautiful day. This morning we are off to an outdoor yoga class at the lake, then home to do a little work and tonight we are going to a double birthday celebration.
Sunday is Father’s Day, do you have plans? We are having a barbecue with friends.
Enough about me, I have lots to share this morning so grab a coffee, tea or chocolate(my favorite) and let’s get to it. When you are done reading the post head over to visit Kim and Juliet.
Glebe House
Hugo Guest grew up in Glebe House, a former vicarage in the East Devon Area of Natural Beauty. Then he left for college and after that to London where he was a chef. In 2020, his parents who had run Glebe house as a bed and breakfast, decided to sell.
The natural beauty of this special place lured Hugo and his wife Olive, an artist, from big city living to life in the family business. The 15 acres were transformed. An old garage became a bakery and a place to make and age salami. Gardens were planted with vegetables and flowers. Pigs and chickens took up roost and the interiors were updated and reimagined.

Hugo and Olive have spent a lot of time in Italy and created their version of agriturismo in Devon. You can now stay in one of the 5 guest rooms or little cottage, eat in the restaurant or take a class.
Everything from pasta to bread making and now salami! Or relax by the pool and soak up a little of the sights and sounds of the English countryside.
If you have a trip planned to the enchanting county of Devon make sure to check out the Glebe House!
One to Follow~Alice Tatham
Alice Tatham otherwise known as The Wildwood Moth is a photographer, content creator and a “seasonal storyteller.” She lives and works in the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Get a refill on your coffee and take a moment to let yourself be transported to the beautiful Dorset coast. Alices’ ethereal photos are magical. I spent hours looking at the photos on both Instagram and her website then reading the blog posts. Not only did I learn a bit more about Alice but I discovered new to me areas of England and new artists as well.
Alice host photography workshops, writes a seasonal journal(blog), and sells her photographs in prints and cards. Follow Alice on Instagram and then take the time to visit her website.

Happy weekend, Elizabeth! Sounds like you have a fun and busy weekend ahead. Thanks so much for sharing our summer refresh ideas. It looks like summer may finally be coming to California. Imagine that! Glebe house is a dream … wouldn’t it be wonderful to do an extended tour of Britain and all the wonderful homes you showcase?! Alice photography is other worldly … I can see why you lost yourself in the wonder of it all. If I wasn’t trying to pack a suitcase I’d be doing the same thing. And on that note, I’m back to packing! xoxo
Thank you Juliet, I hope that you have an amazing adventure in Italy. I have several of your picks in my cart…dresses are my weakness.
HAve a wonderful weekend.
