WEEKEND MEANDERINGS~
Good morning friends! How are you? It’s time for weekend meandering with Kim and Juliet. This is our weekly series where we share all of the things that piqued our interest and caught our eye over the past week.
Finally, after what seems like weeks of gray, stormy, rainy days today there will be a hint of sunshine. I’ll take it. As much as I love a rainy day, my plants are drowning, my wild flowers are flattened and I want to enjoy a little time on the porch with a book and a glass of lemonade.
What are your plans for the day? Will you be enjoying some time in the summer sun?
I have lots to share this morning so grab a coffee, tea or chocolate(my favorite) and let’s get to it. When you are done reading the post head over to visit Kim and Juliet.

Do you like interior design? Me too! And I love to discover new to me designers. Salvesen Graham is my latest find, they are based in London. With 25 years in the design business working for the world’s top designers founders Mary Graham and Nicole Salvesen, are well equipped to tackle any project you have.

Timeless, classic, traditional design with lots of personality. They mix old and new, antiques with pops of color, pattern, and wallpaper.
Don’t worry if you are not located in the UK, Salverson Graham is on The Expert and available for a video consolation!

The Redemptory Airbnb in NOLA

Speaking of amazing interior designers. Last week Deb Milne announced the opening of The Redemptory, a former nursing home located in NOLA. After 21/2 years of hard work by her husband Graham and herself, with some help from their daughter during Covid, their latest Airbnb is open and ready for business.
This week Elizabeth of The Vintage Contessa interviewed Deb about The Redemptory in NOLA, as well as her life, family and love of interior design.

I have “known” Deb since she started her blog and have followed along on her adventures to Scotland, California, and now NOLA. Before that I believe they were in Vegas and before that I cannot remember.
Deb is an incredible single mother to 4 grown children, writer, former real estate agent, dachshund lover and interior designer extraordinaire.
Over the last few years I have watched Deb and Graham transform and put their stamp on some pretty interesting properties. They are the hardest working people that I know and their talents have no limits. I along with so many others think they need their own TV show! Magnolia Network are you listening?

If you are interested in renting The Redemptory in New Orleans for a retreat, stag party, family holiday or reunion contact Deb Milne. You can email her at [email protected] with any questions.
