Need a little inspiration for your Memorial Day outfit? Add a pop of red, white and blue wether your headed to the pool or a party.

Memorials Day Outfit Inspiration
Memorial Day is Monday, can you believe it? Will you be in town at a barbecue or spendings time at the pool, lake or ocean? Or headed on your first adventure of the summer season? I realize that Memorial Day is about honoring our fallen soldiers and I will be doing that too. But it is the unofficial start of summer and people will be celebrating the end of school and the start of summer. Do you need a few Memorial Day outfit ideas? I’ve got you coved no matter what you will be doing.

We are staying in town and have a list of fun things planned. One day at the Club pool or the beach club. Then we are hosting a bbq with family and friends. Sunday a friend invited us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres after a day at the barns watching polocross. Monday I think we will be home recuperating from all of the fun. Fingers crossed we have some good weather, otherwise we will have to reschedule some of the fun.

Today I am sharing a few outfit ideas for whatever you have planned on Memorial Day weekend. The outfit above is one that I put together last year, the dress is no longer available but this dress, and this dress are similar.
Memorial Day at the Pool or Beach

A red swimsuit is colorful and fun, paired with a white cover-up and white flip flops will take you from the pool to the poolside lounge for lunch. Don’t forget your hat for sun protection and your tote bag to carry all of your essentials, a book, sunscreen and water.
Blue & White Memorials Day Outfit

Blue and white is a favorite color combination no matter the celebration. I paired blue linen shorts, with a white t-shirt, white sneakers, a pair of sun glasses and a bucket bag. This casual outfit is perfect for a bbq, the local parade, a day at home or a day with friends.

Just in case it hasn’t warmed up in your neck of the woods here is a layered outfit with pants. Pair your blue linen pants or jeans with a long sleeved top or t-shirt, flag sweater and sandals or espadrilles.
Red Dress Outfit for Dinner or Cocktails

This dress can be “dressed” up or down. I would wear it out for dinner or cocktails, with polka dots sandals and a bag. A simple elegant outfit.
If you want to make it more casual, wear slide sandals, add a hat and your favorite tote.
