Memorial Day Weekend Barbeque Ideas

May 23, 2014 By Elizabeth@ Pine Cones and Acorns 4 Comments

Good morning!  I am having another crazy week. Since Monday I have had the air conditioner repair man and the irrigation man, a doctors appointment and yesterday Paris my pup was spayed.  Oh, and in my spare time I worked.

I am now counting the hours until the long Memorial Day weekend. All I want to do is read, relax, go to the beach and eat lots of food at the barbeque’s.

Summer barbecue’s are one of my favorite parties to attend, not only because it is always nice to see family and friends but because there are so many great foods to eat. Burgers, sausage, brats, steaks, potato salad, cole slaw, salads and of course dessert…cookies, brownies, cobblers and more.

Will you be attending or having a barbeque? What is your favorite food to make or eat at the barbeque?  Share your ideas and recipes please, I am looking for a few new ideas.

Have a great day!

No BBQ for me, just quiet and relaxation. One friend is coming over on Sunday and I am looking forward to that. Oh my friend, I so hope you can rest! Anita

I am famished after reading this post!!!! We have been BBQ'ing recently and I have so missed it over the long winter. Looks like our MD plans may be changing, my son is sick and its throwing everything off course so we might be home afterall and of course if we are will certainly be BBQ'ing! Enjoy the beach and your outings!
