Good morning! I am not a morning person but I am up at at it every morning walking my pups 3 miles before I go to hot yoga. Typically I do not like breakfast unless it’s a donut. Obviously a donut a day does not keep the doctor away so I have taken to eating a high protein breakfast of eggs. Sometime just scrabbled but often times on a sandwich.

My favorite sandwich is avocado on sprouted bread with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, pickled onions and a sprinkling of chia, sunflower and flax seeds.

My husband prefers his a bit more plain with a fried egg, toast and avocado. You can also make hard boiled or poached eggs, and if your are a vegan or vegetarian you can skip the egg and add humus, or you can add chickpeas to the avocado and slather it on the toast and then add a sprinkling of nuts.

Do you eat breakfast? Have you jumped on the avocado toast train? If so what is your favorite topping? And if not, what is your favorite breakfast, cereal with milk, oatmeal, eggs, bacon and toast or something sweet like a donut or a Pop Tart?

I have always eaten breakfast! I was raised to start my day off right, and that always included oatmeal. I use raw oats in yogurt, nuts, dried fruit and fresh fruit, mostly berries. I can't handle avocado (they're becoming quite popular!) and I do love eggs but they are too "light" for me. I enjoy something that "sticks to your ribs" and oats do that for me!
I do have breakfast. It varies during the year- something hot like oatmeal is good in the winter. Lighter during the summer, though.
I always eat breakfast. I could not drink my cup of coffee on an empty stomach.
