Easter Magic bars are a delicious Easter dessert with gooey layers of chocolate, coconut, and pastel Easter M&M candies.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12-18 bars 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 stick unsalted butter melted

11/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 15 oz. can sweetened condensed milk not evaporated milk

1 1/2 cups coconut flakes

1 cup butterscotch chips

11/2 chocolate chips, or white chocolate chips

11/2 cup pastel M&M candy pieces

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×13″ baking pan with parchment paper or foil. Spray the baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

In a small bowl combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, mix well.

Then pour the graham cracker mixture into the prepared pan. Press the crumbs down firmly with the back of a measuring cup or use your clean hands to press the crumbs into an even layer in the bottom of your pan.

Next, pour the can of condensed milk evenly over the top of the graham cracker layer and then sprinkle with the coconut, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and M&M candy. Press the toppings gently into the condensed milk layer.

Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle the top with a few extra M&M’s if you like.

Do not over bake the bars, you want the center to be a little wiggly and the edges light brown.

Once cooled, use the parchment of foil over hang to remove the bars from the pan to cut and to serve.
