Good morning! Happy Friday! Life has kept me very busy this week(again) so it was a challenge for me to visit my favorite blogs and to explore the net but I did find a few things I think you might like.

To say that I love Still Life paintings would be an understatement, I LOVE them and this week, Loi from the blog Tone on Tone introduced the incredibly talented Elizabeth Floyd, a Washington, D.C artist who I am in awe of. You must check out both Elizabeth’s work and Loi’s post filled with amazing photos of Elizabeth’s Studio. Honestly I think there is a collaboration in order, Loi’s wonderful photos alongside Elizabeth’s finished pieces. Also, Loi is giving away one of Elizabeth’s pieces of art so be sure to sign up while visiting the post.

My new favorite blog this week is Bungalow Classics Tumbler the inspiration blog from Bungalow Classic the store. Both have interesting pieces and beautiful photos.

Are you a violin fan? David Garrett has a new album coming out soon and it should be fabulous as are all of the others. I am looking forward to this one and I am going to see him live in the new year!

And last but not least, it is fig season and Martha Stewart has some great ideas to use up your store of them, everything from a fig tart, to fig pizza, fig and chocolate ice cream and more.

I don't think I have ever tasted a fig other than a fig newton cookie. But, the pizza sure looks pretty.
