Good morning friends! Happy Friday, have you had a good week? Are you ready for Halloween? Are you headed to or hosting a Halloween Party? Will you be taking the kids to trick or treat? I am not really a fan of Halloween, I do not like scary, spooky things. I am however all about trick or treat, I love seeing the kids so happy and dresses so cute and I like candy. We will not be dressing up for Halloween but we will be here for the trick or treaters.

I have lots to share with you this week so get your chocolate or coffee and lets get to it.

I am currently reading The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, it is so interesting.

The hardscrabble folks of Troublesome Creek have to scrap for everything—everything except books, that is. Thanks to Roosevelt’s Kentucky Pack Horse Library Project, Troublesome’s got its very own traveling librarian, Cussy Mary Carter.

Cussy’s not only a book woman, however, she’s also the last of her kind, her skin a shade of blue unlike most anyone else.
