Good morning! I hope that you had a great week, did you enjoy your Halloween celebrations? Are you ready for the end of daylight savings? I am, this is my favorite time of the year,  I love when it gets dark early and times seems to slow down. This time of the year is my time to relax, rest and rejuvenate.

This week I found some great recipes, articles and more. I hope that you find something you like and that you share something that you found as well.

Salt & Paprika Potato Wedges, yes please! And maybe a cheeseburger too.

The Baker Upstairs

I am bookmarking this recipe for 1 House Crescent Rolls from the Baker Upstairs for Thanksgiving. They look so great I could eat the entire plate hot from the oven with some honey butter.

Spicy, Dark Chocolate Atole

 Interesting TV/Movies

The Nutcracker. I have heard that it has had bad reviews but I love holiday movies so I am looking forward to seeing it.

Interesting Finds

Thankful written by beloved children’s author Eileen Spinelli and illustrated by Archie Preston, combines charming rhymes and whimsical illustrations to convey the importance of being thankful for everyday blessings. Like the gardener thankful for every green sprout, and the firefighter, for putting the fire out, children are encouraged to be thankful for the many blessings they find in their lives. Spinelli exhibits her endearing gift for storytelling with this engaging poem, reminding children how blessed and special they are. Meant to be read aloud, this heartwarming board book will be a treasured keepsake for parents and children alike.
