Friday Favorites No. 573 from Kale Junkie, Olive & Mango, Damn Delicious and More

Friday Favorites~a weekly series where we share our favorite books, decor,  fashion finds, recipes, podcasts, articles and more.

Yellow daffodils and a cup of tea with an open journal.

Good morning friends, it’s Friday. Are you ready for the weekend? I have a list a mile long of things to get done; work on the front beds, possibly planting my new shrubs which arrived by mail, putting my holiday boxes back where they belong in the garage and little odd and ends that I have been putting off for a few weeks.

What about you, what are your plans? Have you started working in your garden yet? Have you started to plant any seeds inside? Growing plants from seeds is totally new to me and I need to get on that if I want to get plant any this year. The weather is throwing me off, some days it is warm and then over night goes down to  30,  then it’s warm and then it is cold again.  I am not sure what to do, any tips would be appreciated.

On to more important things, the recipes, books, entertainment and more that I have to share this week.

Wildflower Hill

Emma is a prima ballerina in London and at a crossroads after an injured knee ruins her career. When she learns of her grandmother Beattie’s death, and her own strange inheritance—an isolated sheep station in rural Australia—Emma is certain she has been saddled with an irritating burden. But when she returns to Australia, forced to rest her body and confront her life, she realizes that she had been using fame as a substitute for love and fulfillment.

Beattie also found herself at a crossroads as a young woman, but she was pregnant and unwed. She eventually found success—but only after following an unconventional path that was often dangerous and heartbreaking. Beattie knew the lessons she learned in life would be important to Emma one day, and she wanted to make sure Emma’s heart remained open to love, no matter what life brought. She knew the magic of the Australian wilderness would show Emma the way.
