Monday Musings No. 91

A weekend update, Ghosted by Rosie Walsh, Albert Knobs, and more on Monday Musings.

It's cozy season text over a photo of books, blankets, tea and pumpkins.

MONDAY MUSINGS

Good morning friends, how was your weekend? I was a bit under the weather on Saturday. My husband had been sick all week and of course I got sick too. Thankfully not as bad as him but it still nocked me out of commission on Saturday.

The first day of Fall was rainy and cool, not enough for a fire in the fireplace but cool enough to sleep with the windows open. As I was sick I spent the day in bed resting, listening to the rain, watching a movie, editing a few photos and reading.

Speaking of photos, can anyone recommend an app. or program that deletes duplicate photos on your computer? And, a good way to store photos and organize them? Maybe a class on how to do it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sunday I was feeling a lot better so I made some soup and some bread. Then roasted a few vegetables to use this week. Aside from that I didn’t do much else.

What about you? How did you spend the first day of Fall? Did you watch any football? Head to a pumpkin patch?

Next up +5 things.

Ghosted

Seven perfect days. Then he disappeared. A love story with a secret at its heart.

When Sarah meets Eddie, they connect instantly and fall in love. To Sarah, it seems as though her life has finally begun. And it’s mutual: It’s as though Eddie has been waiting for her, too. Sarah has never been so certain of anything. So when Eddie leaves for a long-booked vacation and promises to call from the airport, she has no cause to doubt him. But he doesn’t call.

Sarah’s friends tell her to forget about him, but she can’t. She knows something’s happened–there must be an explanation.

Minutes, days, weeks go by as Sarah becomes increasingly worried. But then she discovers she’s right. There is a reason for Eddie’s disappearance, and it’s the one thing they didn’t share with each other: the truth.
