WEEKEND MEANDERINGS
Good morning and a happy Saturday to you! It’s time for weekend meandering with Kim and Juliet, our weekly series where we share all of the things that piqued our interest and caught our eye over the past week.
Yikes! It is going to be very cold this weekend for a lot of us Not me personally, but for family and friends in the Midwest. I read this morning that it will be -18 on Sunday in some places! Get yourself some provisions and stay inside, enjoy the football games, read, relax but don’t take any chances with the weather.
We’ve gotten spoiled with the mild winters lately. They seem to be going back to the winters I grew up with, cold and snowy. How is the weather in your neck of the woods?
Are you settling into the new year? I finally found my rhythm this week although I am a wee bit behind on some of the things I wanted to get done before the end of 2023.
Speaking of which, if anyone has a app or a good way to delete thousands of photos on your phone and organize photos please share. I really want to clean up my phone photos.

Monsieur Spade
A friend told me about Monsieur Spade, have you heard of it? It is a series staring Clive Owen and Sam Spade that picks up 20 years after the events in The Maltese Falcon. I don’t know that Clive can fill the shoes of Humphrey Bogart but he is an amazing actor so it could be great.

I know that drinking more water is a goal for many this year so I shared 5 easy and simple trips to drink more water.
On Friday Favorites I shared 2 one pan/pot dishes including this chicken parmesan that you will love along with some books, lots of links and a cozy outfit to wear inside out out.
I love everything about this outfit, the cozy but “dressy” wide leg joggers, the classic striped shirt and the slippers. Get cozy this weekend friends, there is another storm coming and it’s bringing cold weather and snow.

I love the plaid throw in your first photograph. I don’t know how it happens to be a different pair, but I click on the joggers to H&M to see the black wide leg, I see the 3 colors’ joggers. I bought the gray joggers.

I start, get distracted (or absorbed in reliving memories) and rarely make headway. I love Kristy Woodson Harvey and get so much joy out of her success. I’m looking forward to A Happier Life! Her Peachtree Bluff series is my personal favorite. Jim and I have been looking for a new show and Monsieur Spade may tick the box for both of us. Also Ladies in Black looks very good.
