Plaid is the official pattern of Fall and I could not be more happy about that because I love it! I wear plaid scarfs, gloves, boots, and slippers and even wrap myself in a cashmere plaid blanket while sitting by the fire. I have no less than 4 tartan coats which I have purchased over the years in Scotland from Barbour and a new one recently from Orvis.

I wear tartan tennis shoes,tartan boots, pajamas and basically any other item of clothing that I can if it comes in plaid. That is how much I love it. The good news is that I do not wear it all at one time.

Even though I had to wear a plaid uniform in high school I still love plaid.

I saw the original ad from Michael Kors showing the plaid car coat, check dress, and leopard bag. I DIED !! And, I would have ordered the entire outfit, except for the fact that the car coat was $3900 on it's own. SAD for me. So I love that outfit, and everything else you've shown today. My daughter in Wimberley is very much into the Fall already and loves red plaid for the holidays. Beautiful post !!!

I have a tartan plaid vest stashed away, a gift from a friend when I served as a groomsman in their wedding party.
You should wear it at the holidays.
