Rosemary and Tarragon Spicy Mixed nuts are the perfect snack, easy appetizer to serve with cocktails and to give as gifts.

Ingredients

3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 Tablespoon dark brown sugar

1 Tablespoon dried, crumbled rosemary

1/2 Tablespoon dried, crumbled tarragon

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

11/4 tsp. kosher salt, plus more for sprinkling

3 cups of unsalted mixed nuts, pistachios, pecans, cashews, almonds walnuts(or nuts of your choice)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet or large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Pour the unsalted nuts in a large bowl.

In a small bowl melt butter( in the microwave or on the stove) then stir in the brown sugar, spicy cayenne pepper, salt and the herbs. Mix well.

Pour the butter mixture over the nuts, mix well so that all of the nuts are well coated.

Spread the nuts out on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until the nuts are golden brown, about 18-20 minutes. Stir one during the baking process. Remove from oven and let cool.
