Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it’s time to share the love with everyone in your life. Whether you’re celebrating love, friendship, or even treating yourself here are some heartwarming gifts and finds will make your Valentines’ day special.
You don’t have to go all out or be extravagant to show your love for your galentine, palentine, or anyone else that you love. The gift could be as simple as a homemade treat, dinner or even breakfast in bed, a box of chocolate or the gift of your time.
You could start the day with heart shaped waffles, chocolate muffins, or use a heart cookie cutter to cut a heart out of the toast and cook your eggs inside. Add a side of bacon, a flower in a vase, a cup of coffee, tea or chocolate and you have a beautiful breakfast.
Another way to spread the love is to spend the day with your kids or grandkids making cookies or a heart shaped cake, no special pan needed! Then enjoy the fruits of your labor, or should I say cake, and play games, do a puzzle or watch a movie. Don’t forget the popcorn.
Plan a tea party or a cocktail party. Serve your favorite cookies, cakes and sandwiches with a cup of tea, try my Valentine’s Day cookie and candy board! Or serve a signature cocktails and charcuterie.
A handmade card or small painting would make a lovely gift as well. Grab your watercolors, colored pencils or markers and get to work creating your own masterpiece.
lWhat about a spa day for yourself? Self-care is always a good idea, give yourself a manicure, sit with a mask while soaking a bubble bath reading a book and sipping a glass of champagne!
