Walnut Date Bread

Especially made into an old fashioned quick bread. Recently I make Walnut Date bread and it is easy and delicious, especially warm from the oven slathered with butter or a little cream cheese. This old fashioned date nut bread recipe is moist, filled with crunchy walnuts, warm spices and soft dates, it is perfect with a hot cup of coffee or a cup ofĀ tea.

  1. Walnut date bread sound perfect right about now. Thank you for the recipe.
I have to add the dates to the next shopping trip.

  2. Looks yummy! I have a package of dates just waiting to be used. Can you please tell me the size of your small loaf pans? Thanks!!!!

    1. I used 7.5" x 4" pans. But you could also use 1 large pan and some mini ones as well. Whatever you do, only fill the pan a little less than 2/3 full otherwise it will overflow in the oven. I had that problem

  3. That sounds so good right now! Would be perfect with my morning cup of coffee. Yes, so much is going on right now it makes your head spin.
