I love baking, but then again you know that. Today I am sharing my 10 favorite baking essentials that I think would make the perfect gifts for mom.
A kitchen Aid Mixer, this is an investment piece for the baker in your life but it is well worth it. Mom mom gave me one over 25 years ago and I sill use it today!
Silphat baking mats are perfect for lining your cookie sheet pans, rolling out cookies and pie dough and in addition to baking sweet treats they are also great for savory things as well.
Baking pans are a must, you should have at least one 9 x 13″ and an 8 x 8″, I prefer to use aluminum ones with square not rounded sides. They are great for brownies, casseroles, cakes and more. Of course a Spring-form pan for cheesecakes and coffeecakes is a must. Sheet pans for cookies, jellyrolls, and sheet pan dinners. Loaf pans and tart pans are great too!
A Kitchen Scale is essential for baking like a pro.
A set of mixing bowls. I have this set which I have used for years, some prefer stainless or plastic.
Off Set Spatulas and cookie soups and spatulas.
Good vanilla extract
and cocoa powder!
These are the items I use almost daily in my own kitchen while baking and cooking. Not only do these items make great gifts for the mom in your life that loves to bake but also for graduates too!
