Good morning! I hope that you had a great week. Mine was rainy, wet and uneventful. Lots of work, yoga and a two good books. I have a big weekend planned with family so I am excited about that.
I mentioned on Wednesday that I am not a foodie but I might have forgot to mention that I love comfort food which is why you often see it featured on my Friday favorites. This week is no exception.

As much as I would like it to be Spring it is still soup season here and I think this Broccoli Cauliflower Soup with Homemade Croutons looks fabulous and would be a warm meal on a gray, rainy day.
One of my favorite things to eat is a sandwich. I think its because I love bread, white bread, multi-grain, rye, you name it I love it. Do you remember Kraft macaroni and cheese? Were you a fan? I was and in fact was just discussing with my husband that I had not eaten it in about 30 years. We were contemplating if we should revisit that “gourmet” meal. After reading Smitten Kitchen this week I do not have too, Deb has come up with a 15 minute, 1 pot version of the beloved macaroni and cheese of my youth. I cannot wait to make it.

I am not really crafty. I might rethink that after seeing this easy and creative Crepe Paper Tulip from one of my favorite and most creative and talented bloggers that I know, Lucy from Craftberry Bush. I think this would be a great addition to any Spring or Easter table.
