Fun Fall Decor and Finds

Good morning! Are you enjoying some beautiful Fall weather and color? Here it is still in the 80’s and there is not too much Fall color but the neighborhood is starting to decorate for Fall and Halloween.

Liz Marie Blog

They say that more money is spent decorating for Halloween than any other holiday. I can believe it when I see all of the interesting decorations online and in my town, everything from spiders to tombstones, skeletons, black crows  and more. I personally do not like scary Halloween things so I stick to pumpkins, mums and other natural elements.

Polka Dot Chair

I do however love to see other peoples creativity when it comes to decorating. I have loved these floating witch hats from Polka Dot Chair for years. This is such a cute and easy project and you can see the tutorial on the blog and get some hats here.

A simple twig wreath embellished with bats and pumpkins is another simple way to decorate for the holidays.

Bats

You could also make a wall of bats inside or outside your house for an easy and scary effect.

The Crafting Chicks

Get some cobwebs add some more bats and maybe some hairy spiders and you are sure to creep a few people out.

As I said I am more of a pile of white pumpkins and Indian corn in a large vintage dough bowl kind of decorator. After all I am all about the candy corns, caramels and other candy when it comes to Halloween.

I found a few things I thought you might like for Halloween and for Fall.

Aren’t these paper lanterns cute? I think they would be great for a party or an easy way to decorate your porch or house without having to carve pumpkins!

Pillow Covers

I love these cute pillow covers.

If you are having a party or your kids are giving away treats for Halloween at school these mini-jack o lanterns would be great.

I think I may need these acorn lights!

Or any of these cute placemats for my grandkids.

So tell me do you decorate for Fall? Are you a huge fan of Halloween? Do you have some favorite Halloween decorations that you put out year after year?

I hope that you have a beautiful day and find time to stop and enjoy a little of Fall, it only lasts a few weeks and then its winter.

The fall decor is beautiful! I really haven't done anything but put out some mini pumpkins. I think I'm going the more natural route for holidays and seasons now at this phase in my life.
