Weekend Meanderings
Good Saturday morning to you friends. It’s time for Weekend Meanderings with Juliet and Kim. Join us as we share all of the things that piqued our interests and caught our eye this week.
I had a great week, it snowed! Not a lot, in fact I think less than an inch, but it was so cold for the 3 days after that we still have some. Nature is beautiful but to me never more beautiful than when covered in snow. Everything looks magical and ethereal.
What about you? Did you have snow? Ice? Cold weather?
House Update
The bathrooms are almost finished. The powder bath needs all of the plumbing, lights, and wallpaper(still have not found “the one.”) And the master needs the electrical, lights, paint, mirrors and a few other small things. Aside from that they are both everything I hoped for and more!
After the bathrooms are complete, new floors, paint, and window treatments in the master bedroom(the room the tree fell on) and Bills office(which is where we are currently sleeping). We are also having the living room repainted and I am on the hunt for furniture. Hopefully we will find 4 comfortable chairs to go around a round ottoman and then down the line we will have bookcases and a fireplace put on one wall.
Ok, on to the good stuff!
Jane Austen’s 250th Anniversary
