I have used 20 lbs of butter over the last 2 weeks and I am pretty sure that while eating all of the raw dough(my favorite part of baking) I consumed at least 5 lbs of it. I am tired of baking. There I said it, shameful I know and not really in the Christmas spirit, but that is how I feel right now. I do not want to see my Kitchen Aid mixer again until Valentines Day. If I make anything it will be a no-bake treat or nothing.
If you are not a baker, tired of baking or just looking for a sweet treat that is easy to make and does not requite any baking, here are 9 no-bake holiday desserts that you might want to try.
9 Easy No- Bake Christmas Treats

Almond Dragees
Toasted almonds, coated in caramelized sugar, dipped in dark chocolate and then dusted with dark cocoa powder. Dragees are so easy to make and they kook and taste delicious.

Dark Chocolate Caramelized Almond Bark with Sea Salt
Sweet caramelized almonds, rich dark chocolate and a sprinkling or sea salt make the most delicious bark that is perfect to share or to save for yourself.

Chocolate Covered Cashews, Pistachios and Dried Cherry Clusters
It does not get any easier than melting chocolate and pouring in your favorite nuts and dried fruit, in this case I used cashews, pistachios and dried cherries. After mixing the nuts in the chocolate you scoop out about a tablespoon full and drop them into small cupcake papers or onto a Silphat lined tray.

Fleur de Sel Truffles
An easy, elegant, rich chocolate treat that uses only two ingredients. Add these delicious truffles to your candy trays or holiday dessert bar.

Homemade Marshmallows
Soft, fluffy homemade marshmallows are delicious plain, chocolate covered or added to your morning hot chocolate.

No-Bake Peppermint Tart
An easy, customizable ganache tart. You can add peppermint extract, or leave it plain, add a layer of caramel or dulce de leche, maybe a layer of pretzels? Whatever you want you can add or subtract and make this to suit the taste of your family and friends.

Chocolate Covered Christmas Oreo’s
America’s favorite cookie, the Oreo, just got better! Dipped in chocolate and decorated with holiday sprinkles these tasty treats are a favorite of kids and adults.

Chocolate Covered Caramel Pretzels
You can cover pretzel rods and rounds with chocolate, nuts, sprinkles or whatever you like. Chocolate covered pretzels are loved by many and are frequently seen on dessert trays at the holidays.

Dark Chocolate Dipped Fritos
I don’t even know if you can call this a dessert but it is one of my favorite sweet/salty treats. If you do not want to dip the Fritos individually you can also throw them into the chocolate and scoop them out into clusters.
