MONDAY MUSINGS NO. 83

Good Monday Morning Musings friends! How was your weekend? What did you do?

It was a busy and productive weekend at home for the most part. We worked in the yard, worked on a few plans for the wild flowers and possible cut flower boxes next year. I officially give up on growing vegetables. This weekend the squirrels ate my only tomatoes. The only thing I have successfully grown this year is 2 kinds of peppers and the irony is I do not like peppers. I grew them for my husband.

My husband also flooded the laundry room. He turned on the water in the sink and got distracted. Ten minutes later he called for help as water was running down the hallway and into the kitchen. Thankfully the rugs on the floor soaked up most of the water. So far the only real damage that I can see is the shoe molding on one side of the hall.

We went to the club pool Saturday to cool off after all of the yard work and the water was like a warm bath. Then Sunday we walked to the village for coffee, by 9:30 we had 12,000 steps. The rest of the weekend was spent reading, relaxing and getting ready for a busy week.

Ok, enough about me on to the good stuff.
