Ingredients
2 large eggs
1/3 cup whole milk or almond milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 thick slices of leftover banana bread
Unsalted Butter, for pan
Garnish
Warm Maple Syrup
Mixed berries
powdered sugar
Instructions
In large bowl mix eggs, milk and cinnamon, whisk until mixture is well blended. Pour into shallow bowl.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
While the butter is melting dip banana bread slices into the egg mixture.
Allow bread to sit for a bit then flip.
Place a slice of banana bread on the hot griddle or skillet. Cook until brown on one side, then flip bread over with a perforated spatula and allow to brown on other side.
Serve with your favorite toppings.
If you are making this bread for a crowd place the finished slices a pan and in a warm oven to keep warm.
