Victoria Henderson| Tale Victoria and more on weekend meanderings.

Good morning and a happy Saturday to you! It’s time for weekend meandering with Kim and Juliet, our weekly series where we share all of the things that piqued our interest and caught our eye over the past week. Welcome home Kim, glad to have you back!
In the blink of an eye it’s November! Where did the time go? Before we know it it will be 2024.
Did you enjoy Halloween? Did you have a lot of trick or treaters?
Can you believe overnight it seems like Christmas? A deluge of Christmas stuff everywhere(my blog included)? I am amazed at how much stuff is already sold out! It is crazy.
But I do love seeing everyone so happy and sharing their Christmas decor.
I have a theory. The holidays make people happy and the more unsettled and cray the world is, the more people look for happiness in the little things. Things like decorating their house, putting up a tree and enjoying the twinkling lights, baking, and listening to Christmas music.
What do you think? Is it too early for Christmas music?
PSA: Daylight saving ends on Sunday, don’t forget to change your clocks.
Ok, on to weekend meanderings. Pour yourself a coffee, tea or chocolate and settle in because I have lots to share.
WEEKEND MEANDERINGS

ONE TO FOLLOW~Victoria Henderson
If you like English country houses(who doesn’t) and DIY I think you will enjoy Tale Victoria.
Victoria Henderson is a content creator based in England with over 200, 000 followers. She lives in an English country house with her husband, son and adorable pup. Over the last 5 years she and her husband have painstakingly renovated the house and and a now working on the garden.
Her beautiful photos offer a glimpse into life in an English country house but her stories offer so much more, a look at the hard work and cost of renovations. Victoria shares the good, bad and the ugly, not just the highlight reel.

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy has been gone 25 years, and she is still an influencer. She favored classics, no-lables and what today would be termed quiet-luxury. Black dresses and red lips were her signature. In fact at most of the events she attended she always wore black and she looked amazing. Her color palette was limited and yet she always looked fresh.
In the 5 years that she was in the public eye she never gave an interview, and it is said that there are only 11 seconds of her recorded voice. Isn’t that amazing? For a person who was hunted as much as Princess Diana, Carolyn Bessette-Kenedy remained private and an enigma to many.

Hi Elizabeth . Thanks so much for your sweet welcome back. What a fun post. I went on a deep dive of Victoria’s Instagram. Impressive what they’ve done. I also can’t wait to peruse the whole Barbara Walters auction. She had great taste… and an amazing person!
There’s so many great ideas for the holidays here. I have to sit down and figure out what I’m going to do and what my decor strategy is m, but I’m going to try to buy early this year. Like you said, I agree there’s so much sadness in the world the holidays for a little bit of distraction right?? Why not extend them??
Hope you’re having a beautiful weekend!

Hi Elizabeth! Of course, I followed Victoria Henderson immediately. Love her aesthetic. And I’ll be waiting anxiously by the mailbox for the CBK book to be delivered. The Barbara Walters auction is full of wonderful treasures, thanks for pointing it out … I’d love to be a bidder but will settle for browsing the catalogue. Have a wonderful week. xo
