Actually, I am not sure this is even a recipe it’s too easy. No matter, you need to make these Halloween Oreo Cookie Mummies.

They are simple to make, no-bake treats, with 3 ingredients. I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong with these cute chocolate covered mummy cookies. They are a family favorite for all seasons, add them to your Christmas cookie boxes too.

How to Make Chocolate Covered Oreos

This recipe is easy to make and fun for the whole family including your kids or grandkids.

  1. Melt: First, in a small microwave-safe bowl, add the melting wafers. Microwave melts or chocolate according to the package instructions, stirring until smooth. Do not over cook or they will burn.
  2. Dip and Chill: Next, dip each Oreo into the white chocolate. Then, remove with a fork, shake off the excess and place on a Silphat lined baking sheet. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.
  3. Add Drizzle Bandages and Eyes: Remove the Oreos from the fridge and drizzle extra chocolate on the Oreos to create the bandages of the mummy, add the candy eyes. Return to fridge to let set for another 10 minutes.
  4. Serve and Enjoy!
  5. Package Treats: Halloween Mummy cookies make delicious treats to give aways. Add them to a cellophane bag, tie with seasonal colored ribbon ad a tag and gift to family and friends. If you love chocolate covered Oreos and don’t have time to make them you could always buy some, they are a little more expensive than homemade.

2 cups white chocolate melting wafers

1 package candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Melt: First, in a small microwave-safe bowl, add the melting wafers. Microwave according to the package instructions stirring until smooth. Do not over cook or they will burn.

Notes

Any cookie can be used for this no-bake Halloween Mummy Cookie, try chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, oatmeal,

White, milk or dark chocolate, almond bark, or melting wafers can be used.

Use white and dark chocolate to make eyes if you don’t have candy eyes, or brown M &M’s.

You can skip the sep of dipping the chocolate and simply melt the chocolate and drizzle it to look like bandages, this may make more servings.
