HOW TO MAKE CONDENSED MILK BROWNIES

  • Read the recipe and gather all of your ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350. Then line your 8 x 8″ square pan with parchment paper or foil, spray with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  • Sift your cocoa powder, flour, espresso powder and salt in a bowl.
  • In a medium pan melt the butter and the condensed milk together. Stir in the chocolate chips and continue to stir until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat and let the chocolate mixture come to room temperature.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment beat the eggs, egg yolk, brown sugar and granulated white  sugar on medium-high speed for about 3 minutes or until the mixture lightens in color. Add the vanilla extract and beat until incorporated, about 20 seconds. You can also use a hand mixer.
  • Add the cooled chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir the brownie batter with a rubber spatula. Then add the sifted dry ingredients, stir until just combined. Do not over stir.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean. It is ok to have a few crumbs cling to the toothpick. For best results, do not over bake!
  • Cool the brownies completely, then remove from the pan and cut into squares. Enjoy!

    1. Hello Anne, thank you for letting me know. It is 2 1/3 cups of chocolate chips. I prefer the 60% dark chocolate but you can use semi-sweet too.

      Have a great night.

  1. I am not sure why, but I am not the biggest fan of brownies, but this one seems quite different, so will give it a whirl.
