Gingerbread Holiday Decorations
Good morning friends. One day it’s Mummy Rice Krispie treats and the next it is gingerbread house Christmas decor. I love Christmas and I don’t like Halloween what can I say.
A few days ago I was at TJ Maxx and it was a holiday explosion, there were pumpkins and cornucopias, trees and baubles and hats and horns. It was holiday heaven.
Everyday my mailbox/inbox is filled with Christmas catalogs and I have succumbed to the temptation. I added added a few pieces to my holiday kitchen, I bought this cheese board and these espresso cups.
After that I couldn’t help myself, I went on a mission to find all of the gingerbread houses and gingerbread men I could from my favorite stores.
Athropologie has cute things but the majority of my gingerbread house finds were from Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and World Market and Target too.
Of course there are gingerbread house kits, but did you know there is a gingerbread house Lego set? And a house for your Maileg mouse!
Or a doormat or pillow to add to your decor?

So many great ideas! My mom always loved to have a gingerbread house at Christmas time.
