Weekend Meanderings
Good Saturday morning friends. It’s time for Weekend Meanderings with Kim and Juliet. Join us as we share all of the things that piqued our interests and caught our eye this week.
How are you this morning? I am feeling lazy this morning so I think that I am going to stay in bed and read for a bit.
This afternoon my nephew will be receiving his Eagle Scouts badge and then we are going to family dinner to celebrate.
The weather is so strange, today it’s going to be 74! Where is winter? It’s my favorite time of the year and it’s hot and humid. Hopefully this week we will see some cool air. And yes, you will be hearing me whine about the weather until I see a snow flake or have a few weeks of cold weather.
Aside from that there is not much else to report from my little world.
Ok, let’s meander and then head over to see what Kim and Juliet are up to.
The Fricks’ Aimee Ng in Vogue
Aimee Ng, the Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator at the Frick, takes Vogue on a tour of one of New York City’s most beautiful museums, the newly renovated Frick Collection.
Hopewood Baskets~Sarah Loughlin and Marcus Wootton.
Artists Sarah Loughlin and Marcus Wootton of Hopewood Baskets, Bewdley, Worcestershire, share their passion for weaving, their connection to the land they are restoring, and how they work in harmony with the seasons.
Full Circle: Fiber Art by Rebecca Yeomans
Artist Rebecca Yeomans has centered her life around making: botanical printing, knitting, & stitching. Filmed in the artist’s studio and during foraging walks, “Full Circle” reveals her original, nature-inspired creations, intertwining her love of nature with her artistic evolution, celebrating the surprises each piece brings.
This is one of my favorite videos that I have shared! Rebecca is so interesting and her work is beautiful.
Interior Designer Jean Stoffer~Budget Conscious Redesign
Interior designer Jean Stoffer is know for her high end projects, this week I am sharing a budget conscious redesign.

On My Radar

Elizabeth! 70+ degree weather … I’m envious. Woke up to 39° and we’re expecting a high of 55° … that’s the forecast for the entire week. Burr. I’m not cut out for this. Anyhoo, happy weekend and congratulations to your nephew. Eagle Scout is a huge accomplishment and will benefit him in many ways, including his resume. It’s time to brew up a cup of cocoa and sit down with your links. I love Jean Stoffer and can’t wait to see her budget friendly project. In fact, today is the perfect day to catch up on her latest season. xo
Elizabeth, Lots of good things here! Congrats to your nephew. That is a huge accomplishment. I am jealous of your weather. We are freezing here and I am so over it. It has been a dark and cold winter here for many months and I just want it to get back to our usual 60’s.
I will dit down with all your fun videos. Going to click over to see about this chicken dish which looks so good! I can’t wait to watch this clip about The Frick!
I hope you have a lovely weekend! xo
Hi Elizabeth,
